Our Learning Methodology
- Pre-recorded videos in which experts deliver lecture or presentation on designated topics.
- Pre recorded videos for core courses will be delivered by SASTRA Faculty and for the banking courses, it will be delivered by Industry experts
- Videos will be uploaded monthly, with one module released each month. There will be a total of 3 modules, each consisting of 4 chapters.
- Videos will remain accessible until the completion of the semester.
- Accessible at any time on all devices, including mobile phones, computers, and tablets.
- Asynchronous Mentoring
- E-books, Lecture Notes, PPT and Open-Source Materials.
- All materials will be made available from day 1 for the entire semester students can download.
- The contents will be a mix of all the above available for the students to use comprehensively.
- It can be accessed any time across devices.
- Synchronous Teaching & Learning
- Students are required to thoroughly study the content of the previous module before attending the live webinar session.
- Each webinar session can take place in either Slot 1 (5:15 PM to 7:15 PM) or Slot 2 (7:30 PM to 9:30 PM). Please refer to the program schedule posted on the website for session details.
- The sessions can happen on Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays or all the days of the weekend.
- These sessions will focus on clearing doubts related to the content of the current module.
- Masterclass sessions could be online or offline based on the CUB’s decision.
- Each assessment will consist of multiple-choice, comprehensive, descriptive or any other format deemed fit or an assignment.
- There will be a total of 3 assessments conducted per course, starting from the 5th week of the program, and scheduled during the 5th, 9th, and 13th weeks. The CIA will be open on Monday at 12 am and closed on the following Sunday 12 midnight in the scheduled weeks for the students.
- The best two scores will be considered out of 3 for a weightage of 30 marks (internal).
- Final end semester comprehensive exam accounts for 70% of the score.
Terms and Conditions
- This program is a collaborative initiative between City Union Bank (CUB) and SASTRA Online, offered exclusively to eligible full-time employees of CUB.
- Enrollment under the special pricing is contingent upon your continued full-time employment with CUB. By enrolling in this program, you confirm that you are a full-time employee of CUB at the time of registration.
- In the event of separation from CUB, whether voluntary or involuntary, your eligibility for the special pricing will cease. To continue the program with SASTRA Online, you will be required to pay the prevailing retail fee applicable from the upcoming semester onwards.
- The special program fee covers only the tuition fee. Any applicable arrear examination fees, supplementary examination fees, or other charges as prescribed by SASTRA Online from time to time shall be borne separately by the student.
- All courses offered under this program shall be governed by the applicable UGC Regulations, academic policies, and timelines prescribed by SASTRA Online.
- Participants are expected to adhere to the Code of Conduct, ethical standards, and all applicable policies of both CUB and SASTRA Online throughout the duration of the program. Any violation may result in appropriate action in accordance with the respective institutional policies.
- CUB and SASTRA Online reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the program or its benefits in accordance with institutional requirements, applicable regulations, or mutual agreement.
