Dr. K. A. Shreenivasan is an accomplished academician with over 23 years of experience in management education, corporate planning, and consultancy, particularly in the domains of Finance, Accounting and Control and insurance. Currently serving as Assistant Professor at the Department of Commerce and Management Studies, School of Management, SASTRA University, Kumbakonam, he has been a part of the institution since 2005, playing a key role in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. A gold medalist in MBA (Finance) from Sri Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Viswamahavidhyalaya, he holds a Ph.D. in Behavioral Finance from SASTRA University and is also UGC-NET qualified in both Management and Commerce. His academic journey includes a Master’s in Business Administration specialised in Finance, a Master’s in Commerce (Insurance Management), and certifications from reputed institutions like IIM Bangalore (MOOC) and ARPIT. Dr. Shreenivasan has presented 33 papers at various national and international conferences and has published 34 research papers in reputed journals. His research interests span across rural savings behavior, microfinance, mutual fund performance, awareness and utilization of e-banking services, and a conceptual exploration of a common Asian currency. He has contributed significantly to institutional development through his active involvement in curriculum planning, student associations, academic committees, and conference organization. With technical proficiency in tools like SPSS, PLS-SEM, AMOS, and Tally, he seamlessly blends academic rigor with practical insight, making him a valuable asset in both academic and consultancy spheres.
