Dr. Karthik Ram is a dedicated academic and researcher with a profound interest in the intersection of technology and retail, particularly within the context of unorganised and informal retailing in India. He earned his Ph.D. through the prestigious SPARC initiative, focusing on the adoption and impact of technological innovations in the unorganised retail
sector.
He holds a Master of Business Administration with dual specializations in Marketing and Finance, and an undergraduate degree in Commerce, which has shaped his interdisciplinary approach to both research and teaching. Though his doctoral work and academic focus are rooted in marketing, his strong foundational background in commerce and professional experience have enabled him to teach a wide array of general management subjects. These include Cost Accounting, Income Tax, Managerial Economics, and Public Policy, among others.
Dr. Ram has successfully qualified the UGC-NET in Management and was awarded the NFOBC-JRF, reflecting his academic excellence and commitment to scholarly advancement.
