Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A)
Bachelor of Business Administration is an undergraduate three year degree programme in the field of business administration. The course covers basic management skills and from financial and advertising management, business economics, business law, accounting policies, IT and computer basics, and more. The BBA course provides quick opportunities to acquire important professional skills and will help to understand risk management skills. It also sharpens one’s thinking on various strategies and stages of running a business or becoming an entrepreneur.
BBA course is also a management-focused programme, that enables an individual to manage large corporations and qualifies for multidisciplinary management positions. If one has just completed a B.B.A. degree then he will be ready as an executive, operations manager, loss prevention manager, cost evaluator, procurement and sales manager
Learning Outcome
On completion of this program the participants would be equipped with the necessary conceptual knowledge and practical insights in business administration. It will enable them to pursue higher studies or start their career as prestigious managers or entrepreneurs.
Selection procedure
Selection to B.B.A.(Online Mode – Semester Pattern) programme in SASTRA will be done transparently based on merit.
Duration of the Programme
The duration of undergraduate Degree Programme (B.B.A.) Bachelor of Business Administration will cover a period of (6 semesters) three academic years.
Medium of instruction
The medium of instruction for B.B.A. Programme will be in English.
Eligibility for Admission
Candidates for admission to the first semester of B.B.A should have passed the Higher Secondary Course (10+2) in the academic stream (with Mathematics/Statistics) conducted by an approved Board or any other competent Agency accepted by the Board of Management of SASTRA as equivalent thereto.
They must also satisfy the conditions regarding the minimum marks, age along with requisite documents as prescribed by the Board of Management of SASTRA from time to time.
