Dr. M. Ifjaz Ahmed M is an Assistant Professor (Grade II) in the Department of Information Technology at SASTRA Deemed University, Thanjavur. He holds a Ph.D. in Image Processing, with his research extensively focused on remote sensing image fusion and segmentation techniques, particularly emphasizing coarse-to-fine segmentation methods. He has authored over 18 research publications in reputed journals and conferences, primarily in the domains of satellite image segmentation, image fusion, and medical image analysis. He possesses strong technical expertise in C, C++, Python, and full-stack development, which he effectively integrates into his teaching and research. Over the years, he has taught a broad spectrum of undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as Programming in C, Object-Oriented Programming in C++, Python with Web Frameworks, IT Project Management, Computer Graphics & Multimedia, Software Engineering, and Image Processing and Analysis.
